Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated. We work on what they want to improve within the circumstances of their unique situation.

Indulge In The Silence

When is the last time you checked in with yourself??

You call up a friend you haven't spoken to in a while and typically the beginning of that conversation sounds something like, “Hey Man! What's new? How are you?” 

When is the last time you had this dialog with yourself?? I am not talking about when you're doing the dishes and you zone out and get lost in your thoughts. I am talking about the last time you sat in a room or outside in complete silence. No music, tv, books, work, or even people around. Quality time spent within. Reevaluating your current life situation. Is this really where you want to be in life? Are you taking the steps to move in a positive direction for yourself? Dissect your emotions. Why did what that person say hit my heart so heavily? Why do I constantly brush things off and not deal with situations as they come? Is this perma-grin genuine or who am I putting this mask on for? Leave room for love in this space. This is not a time for inner judgment or comparison. Simply a time for self discovery. Finding the shadows and bringing some light to what is, just as it is. Each one of us is unique and our “imperfections” only contribute to the ultimate perfection of who we already are. Remember that divine energy that created you. Nothing is a mistake. Nothing is wrong. Everything is perfectly placed within your path to develop your true purpose.

Ultimately this time is to help you get back to you. Remember that you are Amazing. You are Beautiful. You are Strong. You are Capable. You are Worthy.
